  In that last picture the violinist is Romero Alvaro (that also played piano and was a singer). He was famous in Italy as been one of the influent musicians of the second generation of italian jazzmen and played piano in accordionist Gorni Kramer's orchestra with Armando Camera (g), Ubaldo Beduschi (cb) and Luigi Redaelli (dm).

  While searching through links to help emicad, I came upon this old thread. Such a shame that the photos that @spatzo posted are no longer attached. I've seen this before, where usually I figured they were broken links. @MichaelHorowitz, was this a forum upgrade that stripped photos out at some point? I would have thought if someone posted a photo, it would have remained on the site. (I can understand that could also mean a lot of memory too if they needed to go.) Just curious.

  @billyshakes i believe we were still using phpbb in 2014. Most of the images did port over but somehow these didn’t make it.
