Fretboard Summit

Anyone going? I was trying to not stress out and enjoy my summer but I just registered to have a table. I'll probably have my maple guitar if anyone wants to play it.

I went 2 years ago, it was pretty fun. There's a really great variety of luthiers there. I thought I'd heard Jason say that Antoine B was going to be there but maybe I hallucinated it.

I'd love to make it there one year. It's a phenomenal event. Old Town School is one of the nicest musical institutions in the country. It's one of the things I miss when I think about my life in Chicago. The classes, the concerts, the store, jamming in the hallways etc...it's an incredibly welcoming music sanctuary. I was signing up for classes for the variety of things and how affordable they are but just as much because I loved a weekly ritual of going there.

I couldn't find any references about Antoine coming but it wouldn't surprise me, sounds like a perfect match actually.

It's super cool that you'll be showing your guitars.

I thought Jason mentioned it on the podcast but I haven't heard anything since.

I went two years ago and the amount of interest in **** was close to zero but it's a great hang with tons of amazing luthiers. Definitely an opportunity to connect with people that I know online. And there usually is some esquisite music as well.

Getting exposed to Joey Landreth was cool, among other things.
