Apologies if my comment came across as crass. I meant for me, I like the Argies enough that me personally, I'm not terribly interested in experimenting. Other players have great tone and enjoy other brands. I just know the rabbit hole I'm putting myself down if I don't at at least attempt to stick with something.

I bought a couple of Dugain picks twenty or so years ago in France, and I've never looked back. I think they're amazing. I have about ten of them, made of various different materials, though I always come back to the acetate 4mm. I lost one at a jam session a few months ago - so upsetting! - but I have another almost identical.
They give beautiful dynamics. I'm not a fast player though, so not sure about how they perform at speed.
@Joonas These are my notes about Philippe Bosset strings from 2013, on January 27th I wrote:
Put Phillipe Bosset strings on 1-11-13, they were nice in the beginning but lost the sparkle pretty quick and by now they are well worn out. Although g had a pretty nice twang to it at first but by now it's about to break at fret marks.
Good to know they kept the production consistent 13 years later.
@marcelodamon Blue Chip ****-80 vs. ****-100 -- How do they compare? Do you use one vs. the other for different purposes, or for different guitars, or for different setups?
Marc, I'll second pdg on this request - would love to hear some more of your thoughts. I've never really considered Blue Chip due to the pricing but I really like the shape of the tee dee series (reminds me of the gator shape I prefer) and am considering dropping the coin on a 80 and 100, which I believe are the 2.0 and 2.5.
*edit because apparently those letters are forbidden(?)

Ahh, my bad - context clearly escapes me both online and IRL 😂
Anyway, I'll go take a timeout in the corner now - please carry on!
Because we all know on this forum there is rarely any thread drift.....😂
So true.
I'm really into Edam at the moment, but a really nice mild/medium mature cheddar is still my favourite
@Jangle_Jamie 😂

Ok, I'll join in the latest pick thread, especially since this one is celebrating its 20th anniversary:
For gigs where I play only rhythm guitar--
Wegen 3.5.
For gigs where I'm soloing as well--
Dunlop Prime Tone 3.0 (the ones you can't see thru, and I use the shoulder). Buco got me on these little gems.
