I work at a used books and antiques store in Maryland (Second Story Books) and we currently have a collection of ~3,000 Django records for sale at our Rockville location (full post down below and listed on our store website secondstorybooks,com). We have a detailed inventory to share with any interested buyers. Thanks for reading! Collection of nearly 3,000 Django Reinhardt 78rpm shellac and 33rpm vinyl records. The collection includes 2,500 total 78s, of which there are 521 unique discs (with the remainder being duplicates). Includes recordings on a variety of labels (Swing, Ultraphon, Dial, Decca, Brunswick, Columbia and many more) and captures some of Django’s earliest 1930s recordings. In addition to the single 78s, the collection includes three 1940s 78rpm four-disc sets (3-4 copies of each). Finally, there are 356 33rpm LPs and 9 Django Reinhardt LP box sets. All 78rpm records are sleeved and the majority have an additional thin cardboard jacket for extra protection. This collection belonged to a dealer and a detailed inventory is available upon request.
