Well, folks, we’ve officially *arrived* . Django was one of the specialist subjects on this evening’s Mastermind ( U.K. mainstay BBC1 quiz show. Specialist subjects are usually fairly obscure). I got two questions correct… He got seven
7 is not a very high score for a contestant who's specialist subject was Django. They allow 2mins to ask questions and a high score tends to be in the 15 to 20 range. Though the questions selected can often be vague.
I get that quizes are somewhat esoteric. But some questions are not really important to the topic. The town where they married? The name of the hotel where they met?

What were the questions? I tried looking for a replay but couldn't find anything not geocoded.
Pass!😉
I was wondering about the questions too...

I’ve shortened these questions, I got 4, should have got 6.
What was Django’s legal first name?
What was the first instrument (not guitar or banjo) Django learnt to play?
In which dancehall did Django give his first performance?
After his accident, which hospital was Django initially taken to?
What was the name of the hotel where Django first met Stephane?
What was the original title for Chez Jacquet?
Which record label did the QHCF first record for?
Which American saxophonist did Django play with at the launch party for Le Jazz Hot?
Django recorded two songs with the saxophonist above for the launch of the Swing label - Honeysuckle Rose and which other track?
What was the title of the symphony written by Django in the 1940s but never performed
In which town did Django marry Naguine?
Well, if there's only 11 questions then 7/11 is pretty decent, so I retract my previous comment.
Depending on the answers I got either 3 or 4 correct answers. 😎

Quizzes are fun.
I would completely fail this test. 😂
Dregni writes about most of these in his books, the biography and illustrated history of GJ.
