DjangoFest Northwest 2005 is the annual
event celebrating the music and spirit of Django Reinhardt and Gypsy
Jazz. A series of scheduled events, including performances by Patrick Saussois &
Alma Sinti, Samson
Schmitt Trio, The
John Jorgenson Quintet, Beryl Davis, The Robin Nolan Trio,
Pearl Django, The Marc Atkinson Trio
and others, as well as a number of workshops
(and a few spontaneous jam sessions), will make this a memorable
experience to be enjoyed by Django enthusiasts from around the globe!
The festivities take place at the Whidbey Island
Center for the Arts in Langley
on beautiful Whidbey Island, just outside of Seattle, Washington.
