Since the introduction of the Tweety as a way to allow JazzAmp customers to amplify their flattop acoustic and nylon string instruments, the demand for the Tweety for use with other amplifiers has become apparent. With the JazzAmp, the 3kHz and 10kHz knobs on the EQ effectively control the volume of the Tweety, but for amplifiers with traditional tone controls there is a need to control the level of the Tweety. <br> <br> The Tweety is a simple, elegant solution which allows you to have a dark, warm, rich sounding jazz amplifier that will also bring out the brilliant highs of flattop acoustic guitars. Just plug it into the extension speaker output jack on your amplifier and play! <br> <br> There are two very significant advantages to the Tweety. First, when using the Tweety with a JazzAmp, the tweeter and the crossover are designed to work with the 3 kHz and 10 kHz knobs on the JazzAmp equalizer. Many acoustic amps offer the ability to turn a tweeter on and off, or the ability to turn the tweeter volume up and down, but with a JazzAmp you can actually equalize the Tweety to perfectly blend it with the sound of the amplifier. The second advantage to the Tweety is that you get a sound field separation which is spectacular to the ears. A Tweety mounted to a mic stand at ear level, 3 or 4 feet away from the amplifier creates a hi-fi sound experience that you will get lost in.
