Who Made this guitar ?????

I have a freshly repaired gypsy jazz guitar. I was told this guitar might be an early Favino. I had to change all the gears on it (tuners, bridge, tail piece).

I would appreciate if somebody would have more informations about it.

weight: 4 lbs 9 oz
dimensions: 17" across
depth 4"
26" 3/4 from the nut to the bridge

ebony fingerboard
Spruce top
Can't tell which wood were used for the back&sides - neck

It's got the sound of a Favino for sure. Deep bass.

Was the hardware original? If so, it would help to take a look at it to say... but it doesn't look like a Favino. Curb your enthusiasm, but the pointed headstock almost look like Busato's. :)

    P.S.
Just noticed you posted other pics on Benoit's site. Well, I think the older tailpiece wasn't original too... the moustaches, well they have the same shape as Busato's . I don't think it's a Busato but definitely I see a connection.

    Thanks!
This guitar is a mystery! I don't know if I'll be able to find who made it.
You can see some traces of glue where the label should be.
