Gipsy jazz players in the Netherlands
Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, I'll give it a go. I'm looking for people to play gipsy jazz with in the Netherlands. I'm 17 years old, I live in Zoetermeer (Zuid-Holland) and I study musicology in Utrecht. I play guitar. I like playing rhythm but I can play lead acceptably too. One person or joining a group, I don't care.. Any instrument from guitar to bassoon, as long as it swings. We could just jam but I'd like to start a group (with violin). I am very ambitious about the music. I have students 'OV-kaart' so I can travel free during the week... Anywhere in or near Utrecht/Zuid-Holland would be fine, Amsterdam too..
