Stimer Pickup broken clip repair

Hello everyone.

I purchased a Stimer pickup for quite cheap because the mounting clip was broken off/ missing.

I am getting by with sticky putty for the time being but would like to repair it. The first pictures are of a functional model with a clip, the next pictures are of my broken one. Any ideas for a DIY repair? if I find a clip I could probably epoxy it into the slot? Any idea what I could use as a spring clip or what they are called so i can order one? I'm located in Paris if that means anything.

Thanks for your help.

You might contact someone making reproductions (I like the Gabojo Kleio) to see if they will sell you just the clip. I can tell you that the spring clip is very strong. I’m not sure what exactly you could replace it with.

Maybe open it and attach a piece of metal from the inside with the a small nut and bolt like on the Miller pickup?

As for a replacement clip, try searching for money clip but see if there's something smaller. Or get some and see if you can make them smaller.

Or a small paper binder clip could work, also with some modifications.
