This seems appropriate. Latcho drom, Tony.

Sad to see. I have watched many of his films and LOVE the atmosphere, the casting, his sense of humor, and so much more. I hope this encourages some people to check out his other films like Korkoro and Gadjo Dilo.

Sad to hear. All the Gatlif films I've seen were most memorable with passionate acting, music, film making, which capture a unique joie de vivre!

Loved: Latcho Drom, Swing, Gadjo Dilo and Vengo.

    🙏

His video of the Latcho Drom festival hall video was incredible showing the high energy power of 'in the moment' musician group playing! It has influenced my playing for many years. Much to be learned there! Hope to find Gatliff other films mentioned here. Thanks!

    Phil
