Mystery pickup/ mic?

Anyone know what this is? It’s in a used Eimers I recently purchased.

not mounted just floating abound in there

I’d like to find out to place it in the guitar properly.

No clue on the brand but it looks straight up like one of those mics you see mounted to podiums for public speaking...could sound decent for GJ. When I used to use a Shure lavalier, I clipped it onto the lower portion of the soundhole (i.e. high E side) and somewhat inside but directed towards the strings...at least I think, it's been many years.

I'm guessing you'll need a preamp for it too or a mixer channel that has phantom power.
