Need a re-fret. Looking for a good luthier/guitar tech on the east coast (U.S.) Maybe DC or NYC?

Hi everyone,

My Geronimo Matteo built 2004 Gallato guitar is in need of new frets. I recently moved to the east coast (Maryland) and I'm trying to find someone skilled I can trust to do the job. Can anyone recommend someone in this part of the country? Maybe around Manhattan or Washington, D.C.?

Thanks,

Luke

The fret work of NYC luthier Norio Imai is considered the best of the best.

If you are in Maryland, did you try Craig Bumgarner? https://www.instagram.com/craigbumgarner/

Craig Bumgarner for sure. He did a repair and re-fret job on a gypsy guitar owned by my friend Greg that I got to try out.
