Just wanted to let you know that I was listening to this again this afternoon. Such a pleasant listen. Thanks again and hope the DFNW show went well!

@Scoredog I saw Frank's recent YT posting of "Softly..." and at the end, you started to introduce Ray's original bossa tune, entitled "Transverse." I remember about 20+ years ago, I saw the band Survivor in concert. Frankie Sullivan, their guitar player, introduced the theme to Rocky IV, "Burning Heart," by saying they took their famous "Eye of the Tiger" (theme from Rocky III) and turned it sideways. I always thought that was an apt description for that tune and I feel the same applies to Ray's song. He took "Wave" and turned it transverse....

Btw, I think you've spoken here before about contracting out some of the orchestra scores to Eastern European orchestras. Is that the same for this album? If my comment from last year is any indication, it seems I revisit this album every Spring. I seem to find something new and interesting each time.

Thanks Billy! I appreciate you appreciating!

I have used the orchestra in Budapest for a few projects, notably the last Sharmat Andersson Project partly linked below. The Idio's Indigo Nocturne was on a shoestring budget so I used some live violin overdubs with samples (I have years of experience working with samples and beta testing for a lot of the sample companies).

btw you at DIJ this year?

Sadly, no. I was hoping to go, but I have a child graduating that same week. Hopefully next year.

I revisited the song again. I remember listening and liking it back then but it's much cooler now with the back story.
