It would depend on the particular guitar. Measure the strings-to-top gap at the end of the fingerboard. I finally dug up a thickness spec for the 1000: .8 cm or 5/16".
Well of course. It was just a comment. In my experience they are fine domestically but the costs grow exponentially when they cross a border. Which I think is funny for a brand named UNIVERSAL postal service.
