I'm afraid I'm going to scratch this guitar before I get good pictures of it, so these will do before I get some glamour shots. I still need to add the pickup system and I might try one of those NVTone microphones as well.

Crappy pictures of my most recent guitar. This batch is finished. This one is loud, sounds great. First time I've done a laquer finish and I hate to say it but I like it. It's stinky and deadly so I'll mostly stick to my epoxy/oil Ken Parker thing for the time being but it looks really nice.

I'm planning on moving, probably to Chicago, after Django in June. I want to make 4 guitars before that, hope so anyway.

Looks great, Paul. A very complete and satisfying aesthetic!

Wow, there are so many cool details like the binding, tailpiece, heel cap, etc. It looks amazing and I’m sure it sounds even better. I remember you posting about moving a while back. Chicago won out, huh?

Beautiful work Paul! Would love to hear an audio sample too if you can find the time :)

thanks man! I've been fucking with every part for a while but these last three I feel like I can make these and be happy. A modern version and a "traditional" version which is not really traditional.

Chicago I think would be really good for me. It's really far from my aging parents and it's daunting to start over again at 50. I think I will stay here till June even though I hate it here. I might change my mind 5x between now and then....
