Okay, and what would you propose to recover the Community, if it's still possible, and remain within the legal framework? I suppose the previous rant may have sounded completely naive, but I find it hard to imagine that everything the community users have worked on will be lost.
Anyway, I just wanted to highlight the old spirit of the Community because, if memory doesn't betray me, it all started that way, as a place where people could share their transcriptions. There were some incredible things by Gonzalo Bergara there that can't even be found now anywhere. Also, I miss Gonzalo, whom I also paid to write several of his arrangements so we could enjoy them. And yes, some of us don't have that super talent and lately, we haven't even had the time to develop it... I have to say that this is the second time I've written this message; the first time my daughter deleted it :-). It's not easy writing in a language that is not my mother tongue.
The only way of recovering Community would be to sign deals with the big 3, Universal Music Group, Sony Music and Warner Music Group, the way Twitch and Youtube have. That is extremely unlikely to happen as Soundslice is way too small and can't bring enough money to the table. It is far more likely that UMG will just buy Soundslice.
I don't have any proposal. I assume Adrien who is a very nice guy and I'm sure is not at all pleased about this, would love to find a solution but if he doesn't have one it's probably because there isn't any. Big music companies have absurd levels of power over IP they might not even own and the expectation that a tiny company can take them on is not reasonable.
Unfortunately, I have no choice but to agree with you because you are right in what you say. Things are complicated regarding the Community. What a piece of shit this whole mess is.. :-(
Really sad to see the community section go. It was great while it lasted. Soundslice is an amazing product, especially the cutting edge stuff you guys are doing with music scanning.
To find the Store tab, you have to click on "install app" and, once there, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll find the store among other options.
It's not intuitive at all since, in my humble opinion, it should stay on the main page.

Surprised that even the 'Store' is gone - no links from home page. I can still tack '/store/' on URL to get to Store

There's no need to click "install app" to access the Soundslice store. Here's a direct link for ya: https://www.soundslice.com/store/
We removed it from the navigation when we removed the community section but will find a better place for it. Sorry for the confusion!
Adrian
That is a very humid opinion
