I had the same thought, it does seem to be the perfect timing. Hopefully the people at dfnw also had the same thought and are doing what they can. Either way, i've bought tickets for both nights at jazz alley. you gonna go?
So far nothing on the east coast but Martin said they're still working out the dates. Fingers crossed it's worth their time to come around DC area, I'd so love to see them live. Saw Martin play a solo show near me but never saw Bireli live. Two of them together would be such a treat.
