Looking for a guitar tech in England

Hi all,

I’m looking to get my frets either dressed or a complete refret (in the near future when I have the money) I’ve been looking online for a selmer style specialist for this as I would also like to get a full set up potentially replace my bridge and I’m also having problems with the piezo system which seems to only work half the time (I only use this for tuning at the moment as I prefer to use a pedal tuner than a headstock tuner so it’s not a massive deal). Does anyone know of a tech preferably in the midlands area of England but if I have to travel I can do.

The go to people in the UK are John Le Voi (Lincoln), Alex Bishop (Bristol), Jerome Duffell (Wales), and Killy Nonis (Kent).

Whereabouts in the Midlands are you (I live in that part of the world too)?

I’ll have to see whose the closest although a nice trip to Kent or wales sounds like fun 😀. I’m living in Northampton currently

There’s a new festival in Rutland in May - Django by the Lake.

Stuology, tell us more about the Rutland festival please! I'd love to go along.

Thank you! I will have to try to get down there. My parents live in South Lincolnshire so just a short trip and might combine a visit. Anyone else going, let me know and I'll bring a guitar for a jam.

Getting back to the original thread, John le Voi has always been a great help for me - thumbs up. He's in Alford in Lincolnshire.
