I would like to say, that the theme of "Stranger in Paradise" (played by Fapy and Raphael) - is in fact a soprano aria from "Knyaz' Igor'" of a russian composer Alexander Borodin. So, imo there are maybe more not-obvious citings in GJ...

he especially uses a lot of concepts from paganini (double stop arpeggios)

Dennis, please, may you tell little bit more (examples of passages) about that Bireli concepts?..
