A Favino style neck on a Gitane, that's new...

So, is it on the market for sale? Anyone know if it ever went into production?

Forget about the guitar. How can I get a jacket like that?

Don't think so: it looks like a sort of prototype with still no label inside. This guitar is a strange cat . No "bird' s eye" this time but flamed maple like you would find in a MD 50E (same wood for the neck, which is a three pieces one, another "first time" feature in a Gitane). I see some "flames" even in the inside of the guitar: could it be a solid back?! What's for sure, it sports the ugliest tailpiece ever!

    P.S.

I think the jacket comes straight from Alcatraz... :)
