If I bend from a C# to a D can I say that I have played an infinite number of notes per second?

Forget the hair. Wardrobe!
Not my cup of tea, but he's dedicated.
Think I'll go listen to some Paul Desmond now.

And now for something completely different.
A video of a kid
8 years old
who could mop the floor with this guy
doing anything on a guitar
other than playing an apreggio really really fast.
You gotta watch at least till he starts singing. This kid gives me hope in the future of rock.
You get one chance to enjoy this day, but if you're doing it right, that's enough.

That guy is about 20 years late to the shred contest and isn't even very good compared to guys in that genre.
It doesn't matter how many notes you play per second when they all sound like crap.
Don't get me wrong; there are plenty of talented guitarists in the genre that guy is attempting to play in- Shawn Lane, Alan Holdsworth, etc.
But he is not one of them.
I couldn't see the link of the kid. Please repost.

notes per second should be based upon playing the entireity of some standard classical song or something instead of a "lick". playing a "lick" is cheating and "wimpy".
