Patrick Saussois plays with Vibraphonists on occasion, and Stochelo has a wild version of Donna Lee with Vibes. The only recording of Django with this instrument that's coming to mind is that great, late period 'Chez Moi', but there are likely more. I really love Vibes in general, and feel like they're a really nice fit for gypsy Jazz. The two instruments sound great in unison, probably because they're both so percussive in nature. Great video by the way.
