Jan de Jongs VHS tape conversions

I wanted to share the digital conversions from the VHS collection of my late, dear friend Jan de Jong. He was one of the best true Django style guitarists in the Netherlands. There are videos of Jan playing with Rino Van Hooijdonk, and both of them playing in Fapy's quintette with Hady Mouallem. The videos are linked on my website:

I have recently , with Jan Brouwer scanned hundreds of photos from Jan de Jongs 50 year musical life in Holland, for the Nederlands Jazz Archief. Eventually when I label them properly, I will share them as well. There are great photos of band promotional material and live performances with Fapy, Rino, And a very young Tim Kliphuis who had his first gypsy jazz recording on Jan's Orkest Polytour debut album.
