Reluctantly offering my 1998 Stefan Hahl Gitano petite bouche. An exceptional Gypsy jazz guitar with the powerful, rich , articulate tone and effortless playability that has made Stefan Hahl one of the world's most respected luthiers.

This guitar has been a joy to own and is only being sold (extremely regrettably) due to financial commitments. It has been well cared for and plays beautifully.

Comes with a top of the range hexaphonic bridge pickup that amplifies the natural acoustic sound beautifully with tons of headroom as well as the original 2-piece bone saddle bridge.

A rare opportunity to own an early Hahl that would suit both the serious player and collector.

Currently this masterful work of art is having a full detail and service by a master luthier including -

• Pickup bridge removed and original two piece bone saddle re-installed (hole expertly filled, sanded and hidden where wires went through the top below the bridge) .

• Re-stained in areas of wear and tear and a complete re-finish with the same nitrocellulose finish that Stefan Hahl uses.

• A couple of superficial surface cracks in the original finish are being cleated and will not be visible at all.

• 2 cracks that were in the top when I purchased it were actually cleated by Stefan himself and are still holding up perfectly but are being investigated and touched up if need be.

• Frets are being dressed and fretboard gently sanded/re-shaped at any signs of wear so you can expect this magnificent beast to arrive to you in all of its wonderous glory and in brand spanking new condition!
