Hi all. The sixth annual Alberta Swing Camp is coming up soon: July 3-5, 2026. It takes place on a private acreage in central Alberta (western Canada) about half-way between Edmonton and Calgary.
This is a fairly informal jam camp with instruction on swing violin and guitar. We play all sorts of swing music, but there is an emphasis on Django/hot club tunes.
At $65 (Canadian currency) it's a very cheap weekend of camping, jamming and instruction.
