CS Sensor mounting

Hey anyone on here using the CS sensor? Just received it and trying to see about mounting it on my AJL. It comes with an adhesive disk that sticks to the top. But from what I can see many folks don't use it. I assume they use putty. Wondering what folks have had success with. Thanks

Mine came with adhesive disks and rectangles. I used one of those rectangles to install the CS sensor on the top. I never tried putty with the CS sensor. In the long run I want to install it inside.
