In the mix they sound similar and I doubt most people would hear an audible difference sitting in front of the band. I find the Kleio has a little more presence in the top end while the Peche sounds a little beefier. If it's just me at home playing by myself into an amp I generally prefer the Peche but I always use the Kleio on gigs and at jams. The Peche is heavy which makes it want to come off the guitar if you stand up and rotate the guitar without removing the pickup first. The Kleio stays on better. I have an older Peche w/ the attached cable which is also kind of annoying on gigs.

Thanks! I always wanted a Peche, tried to buy a used one, and it arrived broken. I was able to buy a Kleio, but it’s always been in the back of my mind that the Peche may have been better! I noticed that Stephane Wrembel has converted from the Peche to the Kleio. During my limited time with a Krivo I know that I definitely prefer a detachable cable.
He's been using the Kleio for at least a few years. And the reason I bought one over the Peche or other options. I'd still like to try a Peche at some point, as well as the Miller Flèche d'Or, but I'm really happy with the Kleio. It stays on the guitar, sounds great, and responds fantastic to pedals.
To be fair, I've only used this rig at one gig, but I have a Strymon Flint (LOVE it), a GE-7 equalizer, Hum Debugger, the Fairfield Barbershop, and a small volume pedal. I've also got a POG laying around, but unlike Stephane, it sounds like hot garbage when I try to use (the pedal itself is awesome, it's just that I'm not).

I don’t want to totally derail this thread, but since you have both I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts about the Kleio vs. the Peche.

What pedals are you using?
