Altamira Selmer style guitar. Model number M30. Serial number 20140950 dates it to 2014. This is the antique model highlighting finish relicing techniques. Beyond that, the finish reflects real play wear with patina on the top, back and sides. The guitar is in good playing condition and represents the best of the tradition of instruments that were used in the Paris cafe scene over the last hundred years.

A signature instrument from one of the finest families in the Sinti tradition, this guitar represents a continuation of that tradition.

It has been a players instrument and would do well to continue that trajectory. Solid Spruce oil finished top with Indian Rosewood back and sides and Sapelli neck.

The guitar is setup well with action being 4mm on the bass side and 3.5 mm on the treble side. There are small shims under both the bass and treble side of the bridge which is common for these types of instruments and can be used to raise or lower the action on either side. The guitar currently frets out at the 13th fret on the high e string and could probably use a fret dressing.

The guitar weighs 4.6 lbs and comes with a soft shell case.

I think your guitar is a 2014 model based on the serial number (1st 4 digits). All labels say 2007, all headstocks say 2008. I had the same confusion, which Michael and others clarified in this thread.
