Selling my lovely worn in Deluxe. This was my dream guitar when I first started playing the style, and now, I'm DiMauro rich and have a bouche en coeur and another deluxe :)
It is heavily patina'ed, but with a lot of character. Plays and sounds great, with recent refret and setup by a shop in the SF Bay Area that is well versed in manouche style guitars.
Still has the SB tuners, and comes with hardshell case. $4,000 obo. Happy to send more detailed photos and videos, or meet up if you're in the bay area.

yes! it is slightly warped, but it's still attached firmly to the guitar. These are starting to go for $5K and up now, so this is a sweet deal for an all original DiMauro.

That was my guitar! Definitely one of the most playable gypsy guitars I ever owned.
oh wow! I'd love to hear more about it's history...
well, I sure as hell wasn't its original owner. I got it from Jacques at Gypsy guitars a number of years prior.
