It was great seeing people last week. I was playing the basement on Saturday night with Buco and a bunch of other people and just thinking to myself, this is a really nice group of people. It's a bit odd to have friends you only see once a year but I think it's my 7th year running and now I know some people pretty well.
Highlights for me were hanging out with Giacomo who is just a disarmingly friendly and helpful person and such an insane musician. Tcha tore my guitar a new one one night. Paulus was really lovely to hang around and a great teacher and I think I got a new understanding of the OG way of teaching licks and material by rote from him. Sally Baby was a really nice addition and brought a lot of New Orleans to the mix.
I have some videos to go through, I didn't take all that many. Here's Tcha and Sally Baby on St Louis Blues, Paulus is playing my guitar.

Yeah!!! Keep the videos coming
Here's another one:
It was nice meeting you, Pau! I had a great week but it’s going to take a while to catch up on sleep after all that!
@paulmcevoy75 Nice jamming with you on Saturday night!
Django In June was great yet again — Andrew does such a great job of setting everything up for success.

I took a few of your sessions - got a lot from you. You emphasis technique and tone which can't be learned via book or even YouTube. Thanks.
I had a similar experience with Andrew Brown. He encouraged me to attend his class even though it was level 1, because he said I could learn alternate chord voicings lots of different places. His focus was on tone production which you really need to learn in face to face.
