Yes, the 4G safari would be another choice for gypsy jazz castaway island. It would've been the 1st choice if it was thicker. I wanted to get one from Jokko eventually... well, I'm still happy I got the 4G pick. And several other picks from Jokko, mostly tortoise. Which are awesome but whatever is behind that safari material is some of the very best pick materials I've come across. I'd say right up there with the bluechip stuff. It's warm sounding, sticks to fingers, low noise, doesn't wear... it's pretty much perfect.

2.0 mm gator grip and a wegen. I'd use the the dunlop for playing, and the wegen for cracking open coconuts.

You will have tools, so you can make your own pick if you wish. But you better baby those strings!

3 classic picks: a Holo(couldn't afford the guitar🙃), a bakelite(a buddy made) and a Stochelo Rosenberg pick Leo Eimers handed out at DFNW.

...but my go to pick is my original Wegen, now 24yrs aged!🥃
