While some might think the hour format of Rick's videos is too long, I think it really gives you an idea of the character and personality of the interviewee. I was impressed with the thoughtfulness and intellectual curiosity of Joscho. I've never met him in person (Yet! DiJ is coming soon!), but he comes off as genuine and very enthusiastic for this music and for his own quest to find his own artistic voice within the genre. I was looking forward to this coming out and wasn't disappointed.

That was a really good interview with A+ production values (as usual). Rick’s videos are definitely worth watching, I learn something interesting every time I carve out the time to watch any of them.
And kudos to Joscho’s wingman Sven Jungbeck. He’s an excellent player in his own right and those guys really lock in wrt to timing and pace-changes.
