I think I'll do a cover of Mustang Sally on my next album.
I like both the original version of "Yellow Ribbon" and this version. I think they did a nice cover here. In fact, I find this version less cloying than the original, which might have been a bit too saccharine. It has a nice tempo and the arrangement between the instruments is interesting in a good way.
Land of a Thousand Dances gotta be in there too.
Why doesn't someone just do a whole album of GJ versions of The Commitments soundtrack? 😂
