Quick question. There is some creaking and groaning when I put new strings on and get them up to tension. It sounds like things are 'settling in' to the tension. I am not sure where it is coming from. Is this normal?
Yeah, it's fairly typical to get a little bit of "noise" from an acoustic instrument during restringing. Just make sure you're tuning to A440 and all will be fine, guitars are designed for that level of tension.
