BYO - fret time (nearly..!)

-

Friends,

What is the fingerboard radius for petite bouche? (21-fret / 670 scale)?

Thank you!

auxilliary questions:

is the radius the same down the entire length of the fingerboard?

is the saddle radiused - and is it the same as the fingerboard radius?

is the 'nut' (string guide since this guitar uses a zero fret) radiused - and is that radius the same as the fingerboard radius?

IDK what the originals were but I've heard relatively flat. But use whatever you like assuming you are going to play it. No rules with that. The top of the string guide doesn't make any difference (but radius it the same as the fingerboard for aesthetics). The bottom of the string slots need to be slightly lower than the zero fret.

What are you referring to as the saddle?

I had 20" radius stuck in my head for my guitar.

Yes the top of the bridge should be radiused. Don't make your string slots in the bridge very deep either. Really more like shallow notches than slots.
