Thumb picks?

toddgtoddg New

Is it possible to play in the style using a thumb pick, like tommy emmanuel uses.

Can you successfully play correct La Pompe. Any thoughts?

Teddy Bunn, one of the earliest jazz guitarists played with his thumb... no thumb pick!

People said his thumb reminded them of a golf ball.... but he seems to do okay.

Teddy was great on banjo, man he’s tearin’ it up... I can’t imagine he was using his thumb for that....?. This recording was one of Jeff Healey’s favourites...

Edgar Degas: "Only when he no longer knows what he is doing does the painter do good things.... To draw, you must close your eyes and sing."

Georges Braque: "In art there is only one thing that counts: the bit that can’t be explained."
