Found this Django Social Club very cool. The app is very similar to Slack, but with more space for messages, images and videos.

The admin is also very friendly and helpful.

Yes, please join. You all know me, since I have been around this forum since it started, and so you know it is legit. 😁

My idea for https://djangosocial.club is three-fold:

1. It will be very useful during festivals, since it has the mobile app, you will be able to network and share photos and videos in real-time during events. So, please use it during Djangofest, Samois, Django In June, or whatever, it will make life easier in some ways for all of us.
2. I wanted an easier way to network with my Portland friends on a local level, privately and by invite only. You will be able to do the same with this tool. Some people use Slack for this, but DjangoSocial.Club will allow you to cross-over and talk to other gypsy jazzers in the same app.
3. Also, unlike Facebook and Slack, information is contained in the app and your information is NOT mined for marketing purposes. Also, none of this is monetized to sell you stuff. Isn't that nice? Yeah it is.

So, I hope this accomplishes the goal. Please try it. We are friendly. Based in Portland, OR.

When it reaches 100 members, I'll change it to invite-only, so join openly while you can.
