    Your playing is great. You can go section by section of the song, comparing the phrases of the solo to the chords underneath. Take the phrase and look at the chords it's played over. Try to see the connection. Pick a different tune and play that phrase over the same chord or set of chords. If it's harmonically complex and you can't quite figure out what's going move on and pick something else, you'll for sure play something and be like "uh that's what that is". That would be one of the first steps I think.
