I listened to a recording a while ago of a relatively unknown guitarist that is the undisputed master of emulating Django Reinhardt's 1947 style. There is a vintage live recording, I don't know if it's still on Youtube. Does anyone know who I mean and can give me his name? Thank you!

He certainly is one of the first guitarists integrating Django's language (and sound) while playing his own improvisations instead of copying note for note well-known solos. Excellent!
