Does unwound strings in Argentines set are different than regular electric guitar strings?
I wonder if i break 1st or 2nd string can i replace it with electric guitar string and still get a good gypsy sound?

High E and B steel string from electric or acoustic will be fine. Try and stay with the same gauge. I just put a new Gibson 12 on my Altamira with Argentine 11's. Their all just a steel core string. It changes when you get to the wound strings.
