I thought some of you might be interested in this new blog post on Michel St. Pierre's mystery guitar. A very unique guitar with a great voice. (If anyone can tell us more about the origin of this guitar, I'd love to hear).

I love this guitar! Great, great voice! It's the kind of guitar many people would not put money into, because it has no verifiable bloodlines, and isn't"worth" putting the money into from a financial point of view. I am so glad Michel trusted his belief in it, and that Craig did his usual excellent and respectful work on it. I hope Michel keeps this one, just so I can play it once a year in Northampton.

Thanks for the blog, Craig. It was an interesting read, and fun to compare what you guys went through with some of the issues I have encountered with my vintage stuff. I always learn something from you.

Maybe our Man in Milan, Frater, will have an idea. He knows more about GJ mutts than anyone else I know.
I've never been a guitar player, but I've played one on stage.

I would be proud to own that beauty! Not knowing the identity of the manufacturer would not detract from it at all in my view. It's obviously a vintage survivor that would be a wonderful instrument to own and play.
