I know this is WAY premature, because I haven't yet heard back from Rodrigo on my choice to order it (he's traveling in Europe now), but I'm really pleased to report, I went ahead and placed an order for a Rodrigo Shopis Model F D-hole. Hopefully, will have it by DIJ '13, but irregardless, I'm anticipating this with a great deal of excitement! It was tough, for me - so many fine makers, and guitars (my short list came down to Rodrigo, Craig Bumgarner's Castellucia-influenced new guitar, the Mazaud Vieux Paris, and an AJL Gypsy Fire). I'm tucking the Mazaud Vieux Paris for when I win the lottery, move to France...or both. As it is, extremely gratified to enter the community of Shopis owners!

Sorry, Tele, can't opine on the Eimers. Have you played on several Eimers? What's your view?
