They have been playing for 5 weeks - not just the style - guitar period. I never showed them the upstroke and never showed them that turn around at the end. Super proud of them. Had one kid out today but I will post again soon.

They are both 10 and then the third who is not in the video is 14. We are going for 16 weeks as an experiment to see how far they can go.

They can check out Quinn Bachand. He was in their shoes 15 years ago and look at where he has gotten to. Quinn and one of his friends band warmed up for Robin Nolan maybe 10 years ago here in Victoria. He was, I recall 13 or 14 at the time. Now on a full ride to Berklee

Quinn is 20 or 21 haha, he wasn't playing GJ until maybe 5-7 yrs ago, definitely not when he was 5. He's indeed a beast on Gypsy Jazz guitar, but people should check out his jazz violin playing too, it's unique (in a very good way)!
