  thanks for the posts! I'm thinking about using a Lollar CC pickup with the side mount instead of a traditional triangle screw mount. I'm more focused on the CC pickup installation, rather than the Inlays. Lollar? How will the gypsy strings balance with the Lollar CC?

  Can't exactly say about GJ strings with CC pickup since I haven't tried 'em. However, I use GJ Argentines (11s) with a Johnny Smith mini-humbucker on another guitar and they work fine. AE
