Thanks everyone for the kind words and support. I just got the guitar, but I tuned it up too quickly or too high so I broke the g string. Well, a couple days til a new set arrives. It seems like a great guitar though. The volume is definitely up there and the highs do cut. The low e is somehow a little dull, so I order 10s for the new set. Hopefully, it'll be a little less muddy.
Also, this kind of tailpiece with buttons on it, I've never encountered. I assume you can only use loop ends on it? Its kinda convenient though, to be honest. Do most gypsy guitars use this kind of tailpiece?

That's great, Vic! I'll be waiting for your report!
Well that was a nail-biter of a delivery.
Happy New Guitar Day, Vic!
Yay, happy new guitar day!

Yes, most do.
That's the most common style, yes. Usually each post has a hole for the string to pass through so that it can accept both loop and ball end strings.
