yeah I have a lot of this maple but it's all cut in weird sizes. A benevolent retiring luthier gave me a shitload of wood. I am not sure how many guitar backs I have unfortunately. I have tons of sides like that.
Making guitars is hard AF tbh. It really just assaults your ego all the time. Anyway this one is cool. Not perfect but cool. I hope it sounds the way I think it will sound. It's the prettiest Selmer guitars I've ever made.
Jangle_JamieScottish HighlandsNewDe Rijk, some Gitanes and quite a few others
I'm finishing a couple new guitars soon. I will have the Blue Guitar and the Grenadillo for sale fairly soon. They were both at DIJ and got very good reviews all around. Prices will be pretty reasonable on them.
I'm enjoying playing them right now but if you're interested let me know. I always keep one on hand to play until I finish the next ones. So I could part with one but I've been lazy lately about advertising them.
bbwood_98Brooklyn, NyProdigyVladimir music! Les Effes. . Its the best!

That makes sense. I think the idea of process optimization is as fascinating to me as the instruments themselves!
I keep trying different things. My memory is legit super terrible so sometimes I'm like why tf am I doing it like that again??
This one is for me.
It looks like you saved some special wood for yourself. That back and sides are stunning!

Here's a little update on where I'm at. Hopefully I'll finish one by DIJ. Trying not to rush, for a number of reasons
