This is what I hear when I listen to a lot of gypsy jazz players.
It's not sacrilegious. It is uneuphonic.
Hey, I like it as its own thing. He certainly has phenomenal chops. And ability to memorize a solo. But he wouldn't be my first pick for Melodie au Crepuscule.
