Hello everyone, I've found this 60s archtop, as said by the seller, I guess it's european due to the tuners, maybe even italian
but it has this little logo/symbol on the headstock.
Has anyone ever seen it somewhere? I didn't find anything online
Looks like a little airplane with an M superimposed. Also off center perhaps? Maybe it is a home-made guitar by someone?
Presumably a logo based on the initials of the luthier - C M or M C maybe?
@elianu Make sure your tetanus shot is up-to-date before you go changing those strings! 😂
I like how it's got the double dots on the 10th fret.
Got vaguely German vibes to me but who knows.
Those bridge feet look massive? Like platform sneakers?
Could be of Eastern European origin also from that period.
It also bears a stretching resemblance to a spider that has been squashed, sorry, injecting some humor in these dark times
Make that striking
