Anything out there with published schematics that you can clone?

Actually not really which is surprising, I've been looking for a while, I tried the k&k pure preamp with the XT pickup and it sounded great I might buy one to trace it and ad some adjustments

Has anyone tried "feedback suppressors" in a live performance situation when using mics, dpas, contact mics, etc.? E.g.:

If you already have an XT then you could do a lot with what you have already. The line 6 has most everything you're looking for already except feedback fighting features. But you may not need it if you're using the mic with a low gain level (XT is fairly resistant to feedback already). Looks like line 6 will take two sources so you can run both the AT mic and XT into the line 6. Keep the mic level low, just enough to give you some natural guitar body sound. Use line 6 to tweak the XT sound, apply IR, EQit etc. I bet it would sound decent with the powered speaker.

I had an AT Pro 70 several years ago & got sick of fighting the feedback so I sold it & went the magnetic route. But one of the guys I play with regularly uses one through a small Roland amp & gets a good tone out of it. But: A) he always ends up putting his amp in a peculiar place, presumably to keep it from feeding back & B) he can't turn up very loud. But if you haven't tried one yet, try Roland's Street Cube EX. It's 50 Watts, can run on batteries, and has so many different amp simulator options, channels & tone settings, surely you could work out a good tone for your rig. And you can get them used for around $350. Additionally, they're only around 15 lbs. I started gigging with one a month or 2 ago (my Blues Jr seems to be getting heavier with each passing year!) and I really like it.

I've been running the line6 with the XT and the krivo and it's pretty great , just constantly on a tone hunt for some reason
